The second sentence of the Appendix Q will not apply. And E8 of the Appendix Q will only apply to the IOM class. For radio sailing classes, 3 times repeated fanning of sail or rudder will considered as the infringement of rule 42.1.2 The rules for the handling of boats will apply, and will also apply to any time when the boats are on the water.1.3 Add to RRS 41: (e) help to recover from the water and return on board a crew member, provided the return on board is at the approximate location of the recovery.The 1.4 WORLD SAILING – INTERNATIONAL EMPIRICAL HANDICAP SCHEME FOR YACHTS and the Offshore Special Regulations for Category 5 will apply for the Open Classes.1.5 Under RRS 86.3, this event will use the package of test rules approved by World Sailing for match racing. See detailed wording for these rule changes in Appendix H of this Notice of Race(NoR).1.6 Rule 40 will be changed so that it applies at all times when afloat.1.7 No national authority prescriptions will apply.1.8 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.1.9 F3.1, F4.1 of IOM Class Rule will not apply. 2ADVERTISINGBoats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the OA and may display their own advertising in compliance with ISAF Regulation 20. Teams may display their team’s name, image and advertising on each side of the hull but the material of the sticker must be 3M or others with the similar quality.
